Ahhh Real Finals!

So we are in the last few weeks of the semester and I can imagine there are piles of papers, exams, and final projects stacking up in your to do lists haunting you until they're completed. It is no secret that it is one of the most overwhelming times in a college student's life; deadlines are steadily approaching, there are more assignments given out than what you actually have time to complete, and you sleep for literally a few hours a week, if you're lucky. It is important however, to not cram, or overwork your brain into teaching yourself an entire class in a week time span for an exam you have coming up. Here are some helpful tips to help prepare for and during finals time:
  • change your study locations, studies have shown alternating locations increases the likelihood or remembering material.
  • take advantage of study groups, " Dividing and conquering is an effective way to reduce your workload -- and to make sure you understand the material."
  • make flash cards, the oldest tip in the book but it is very effective for memorizing and words associations.
These are just a few tips to make finals time as painless as possible. Good luck on the rest of your studies and REMEMBER TO SLEEP!
