Advocate for an equitable environment free from violence and harassment based on gender, race, and sexual orientation.
Create an anti-racist, non-sexist, queer-affirmative space where all people can feel valued and safe.

Women's Center Open House!

Whee!! My first blog of the semester!! So if you didn't hear or didn't stop by today, the Women's Center held its annual Open House! It was such a great time and if you came I hope you had a fabulous time!! So many elements went into this event that made it such a success; the food, people, music, and overall atmosphere. First, the food. Holy snap it was so delicious!! All of the desserts came from Trader Joe's, and turned out to be such a hit that our fellow CSI staffers had to stop by and have some. The best part for me, however, were the new and familiar faces that we saw. It was awesome to see our friends that we have come to know come out and support, but also so great to see new faces in the WC. We even had some celeb appearances from Rick Brown and Pat Chang!

After staff introductions, everyone got the chance to mingle, catch up, and learn more about our space. As one of our staffers put it, "Its one big party and everyone is invited!". Check out our staff pic from today's Open House :)
