Thank you, MA'AM

MA'AM, or Men Against Assholes and Misogyny is an amazing new Tumblr created by Jen Kirkman who is a comedian and ex-tweeter. She created MA'AM after being fed up with all of the trolls on on the internet who feel empowered to make hateful comments to Kirkman and all female comedians. Kirkman said that what really pushed her to create the Tumblr and give up on Twitter for awhile was because her male comedian peers would tell her that they didn't support the hateful comments, but they would never make any public statement in her or any woman's defense. MA'AM is her response to find men who will actively speak up as feminists and supporters. Kirkman writes that MA'AM is:

"A site that brings women and men together in the spirit of knowing that equality doesn't exclude anyone. And that the fight for other's equality is a fight for our own betterment."

In other words, it's incredible. Check it out.
