LGBT 9/11 Remembrance

Though the trends are ever-varying and changing, what it is to be "American" in the typical definition and affiliation with the word does not generally include the LGBTQIAP+ community. The tragedy of 9/11, however, is widely mourned, its heroes and victims universally acknowledged. I just wanted to take this time to celebrate those heroes as well, to remind everyone that many of the people who were lost that day were part of our Queer Community, and deserve to be recognized with everybody else.
Please follow this link , if you so wish to learn more about these people, and take a moment to honor them as well and to remember that no matter where you are or who you're with, somebody is one of us.
